Welcome to the SJC website, which has been created to provide information for members and site visitors regarding Jazz activities provided by the club and to be a guide for Jazz lovers to events occuring each month, in and around the Sydney metropolitan area.

The 'Little People' graphic was created for the Sydney Jazz Club by Life Member Terry Fowler and adopted as its logo in 1962. It is a caricature of the original founding club members who were the Paramount Jazz Band, who formed the jazz club in 1953.
SYDNEY FLYING SQUADRON
Tthe Flying squadron" will present Mid Afternoon Jazz with the Jugalug String Band, on Wedneday 8th July. The Sydney Flying Squadron (18ft Sailing Club), is located at 76 McDougall Street, Milsons Point (near the Ensemble Theatre), overlooking Careening Cove, a short walk from Milsons Point Railway Station. Street parking no problem.
