    Bowlers Club on York

    From 3:30 to 6:30pm


    SJC have arranged special celebrations for this great milestone in the club's history to be held at a venue linked with that history.

    The original Bowlers Club at 99 York Street Sydney, will be the venue, now the "Bowlers Club on York ".

    The band will be the fabulous Lounge Bar Lotharios with Greg Poppleton, Geoff Power, Al Davey, Ben Gurton, Ron Nairn, Hall Stomp, Alan Solomon, Paul Furniss, Peter Locke, Grahame Conlon, Rod Herbert and Lawrie Thompson.- wow what a line up!

    There will be open seating with a very moderate entry fee of just $10.00. No bookings will be taken. Put this date in your diary, gather your friends and come along and help celebrate this great occasion.

SJC Berry Island picnic will feature the Riverside Jazz Band on Sunday 21st July.

The 'Little People' graphic was created for the Sydney Jazz Club by Life Member Terry Fowler and adopted as its logo in 1962. It is a caricature of the original founding club members who were the Paramount Jazz Band, who formed the jazz club in 1953
